Top 3 cloud storing apps I use!

In my view, these days we consume a lot of media. The media may be in the form photos or videos or documents and so on… Storing all this data of various formats in your smart phone might become a very tough job. You may run out of your storage space on your device very often. This is like, if you had to download an important file and you don’t have any storage space left in your device! That could be one of your most irritating situations. To get rid of such most irritating situations, we can use cloud storage services.

These cloud storage services provide huge amounts of storage space outside your phone to store data online. The data that is important to us, can easily be stored in the cloud by simply uploading the data into the cloud storage provider. The data you store in such cloud storage service can easily be accessed through any of your smart devices just by signing in to your account.

So, these are the 3 apps I use…

  1. Google drive:

The first app for cloud storage service “Google drive” provided 15 GB of cloud storage when I signed in. That was more than sufficient for me. I used something like 7-8 GB of it. Creating an account in Google drive itself gives you a free cloud storage of 15GB. And Of course creating an account is free.

2.  Dropbox:

Dropbox is also similar to google drive, but less free storage space when compared to Google drive, it provides like 2GB on signing in. All the files on dropbox can be accessed from any smart device by singing in to your account.

3.  Box:

In my view, this is also one of the best cloud storage providers out there. On signing in, I got a free storage space of 10GB and a 50 GB of free cloud storage for iOS app users by upgrading.

With the usage experience, what I have noticed was…

  • All these are very similar when it comes to uploading files to the cloud, accessing files and downloading them.
  • Any of these services can be operated through any of your smart devices.
  • Google drive provides more free storage space than dropbox and box, but Box has highest free storage when it comes to iOS users.

I love these services as well. Do you recommend different services for images and docs, or do you keep them all together in one cloud?

I keep them all at one place… If storage space in one service is not sufficient, then separating them all to different services might help!😄
      Thanks for your comment.
